The Blind Side (2009) [Michael's poem, White Walls] Teacher: I look and I see white eveywhere. White walls, white floors and a lot of white people. The teachers do not know , I have no idea of anything they are talking about. I do not want to listen to anyone especially the teachers. They are giving homeworks and expecting me to do the problems on my own. I have never done homework in my life. I go to the bathroom and look in the mirror and say " this is not MIcheal Oher." A Chameleon Sky
The sands of time are running out for the central star of this the Hourglass Nebula. With its nuclear fuel exhausted, this brief, spectacular, closing phase of a sun-like star's life occurs as its outer layers are ejected and its core becomes a cooling, fading white dwarf. In 1995, astronomers used the Hubble Space Telescope to make a series of images of planetary nebulae, including the one above. Here, delicate rings of colorful glowing gas (nitrogen-red, hydrogen-green, and oxygen-blue) outline the tenuous walls of the 'hourglass.' The unprecedented sharpness of Hubble's images revealed surprising details of the nebula ejection process and may resolve the outstanding mystery of the variety of complex shapes and symmetries of planetary nebulae. “ Lisa, stop that racket! Im trying to fix your mothers camera. Easy, easy. I think Ill need a bigger drill.
I just watched the pic’s on Carolyn’s Flickr Site, where Kurt and Calli are playing Sax and Clarinet.
And now watch THIS!
This could be the beginning of the Meitingen-Cowtown-Brass-Band.
The pics are from the trial lesson, and Simon loved it and actually has started being a
trumpet student. Yesterday he learned the “E” (first two valves?).
And, of course, he has the red/gold trumpet, not the red/silver-one i preferred.
a woeful picture. Dont know what to do and how to do the things we think we have to do. We starve to death if the fridge is empty, the beer is empty and the pizza express has closed. We have no resources against the boredome, if our wife is not within earshot.
Right?
Hah!!
The first thing befor start cooking is - open the wine! Some good music while cutting the vegetables. No kids are disturbing with “I AM HUNGRY!!! WHEN IS DINNER READY??? I DON’T LIKE THAT GREEN PIECES IN MY PASTA, BAEH…..! WHERE’S THE KETCHUP?”
A whole bowl of corn salad (with bacon bits) for me alone. Not just the last slouchy pieces, my kids left for me.
P.S.: On the pictures: Corn Salad with bacon bits, olive oil/Balsamico dressing.
Spaghetti with vegetable-tuna-sauce with zucchini, carots, garlic, olives, chopped tomatoes basil and tuna. Last, but not least - a Tinto Tempranillo-Merlot from Bodegas Nekeas, Spain (87 Parker-Points)
have you ever seen a guy doing this with his audience?
“Could you please sing the Ave Maria for me?”
This guy is awesome. I have this one, and it’s great. Think about the “Cosby Family Song”.
And his sessions with Yo-Yo Ma.
