I’ve found some really old pictures while i rummage on my harddisc…..
They where taken on a Bicycle-Tour to the Kochelsee - three guys from the same grade. We were in the .. hmm… 9. or 10. class in junior high (Realschule).
We were one week on the bike, with a tent and sleeping bags.

a day at the zoo
The plan was to go to Dießen am Ammersee by train, to the Töpfermarkt. But the lousy weather canceled this plan. So we went to the Augsburger Zoo. Heike and the kids have annual tickets.
I’ve took lot’s of photos. On the way home we stopped at the superstore Metro
and bought the parents dinner.
Now i know the correct meaning of “happy camper” - still learning…hehe!
Greetings to the “Germans in Cowtown”. Servus zusammen!
office window impressions
Kinda bustling day. For the time being i have some photos for you, shot today morning out of the office window…
conversation
today it was my job to bring daniel to bed. we change sometimes - usually it’s on me to bring simon and heike brings daniel - however, today daniel said: “Papa du lesen”.
OK, we were reading a book with nursery rhymes “Morgens früh um sechs kommt die kleine Hex“.
After reading an his inhalation it’s snuggle-time. We were lay on the bed an daniel threw his teddy bear and the other soft toys on me. He had a lot of fun.
me: “OK little boy, now it’s time to sleep.”
daniel: “you stay snuggling?”
me: “sure, let’s snuggle”
we laid down.
daniel: “Papa, go away”
me:”what?”
daniel: “go away”.
me: “you want me to go? OK”.
daniel: “no, stay”
me: “what now? stay or go? i thought we snuggle?!”
daniel: “papa you stay!”.
me: “OK, let us lay down and snuggle”
Daniel and i put our head on the pillow.
daniel: “Papa”
me: “hm?”
daniel: “Go away”.
I stoped trying to understand this. Kids are curious.
morning disaster
at 5:30 the night was over, the disaster took it’s run. One fire engin after another came along. People where screeching. The sirens let us falling out of the bed. It was terrible. I was affraid looking out of our bedroom. What would expecting me? I really don’t want to see masses of blood before breakfast, or the first cup of coffee. I was listening to the assignments of the firemen to find out what was going on.
The parking garage burns. Good grief! A helicopter was landing.
What can i do? Run out, catching a bucket of water and achieve civic duty? In shorts?
So i got up, opened the bedroom door, climbed over the burning parking garage and stumbled to the Coffee machine. After one or two cups i will think about civic duty.
“Hey…could you fight the fire more quietly? Mom’s still sleeping”
gleam of hope
We had our Mayor-Day today. It was tactical thought, that we turn up in a threesome - Heike, Me and Daniel. First he has seen me and said “Come in, we need only a minute for you and that’s it - at the most a minute”. Then he has seen Heike and Daniel. And the rest was “Local Politician Smile and Blahblah”.
In the end he told us, everything is fine blah, he works on it blah , everyone will be pleased. Blah.
We will see… now he knows that there is a opposition.
Meet the friends tonight - one or two Weißbier - fine.
a day at the races…
weekend started quite nice. sunny, warm.
Until we opened the mailbox (the analog one).
No place for Daniel in the kindergarten. Even no place for Maximilian - my nephew.
This suck’s. Heike will lose her health insurance if she can’t go working after her 3 years maternity protection. And then i have to take them into my private-insurance. This costs about 700,- Euro more a month.
So we were very pissed off the rest of the weekend.
On thursday i have a appointment with our mayor. Better don’t forgett my bat…hehe.
So…. the week can only get better….
reservation confirmed
After a really godawful basement-cleaning yesterday till midnight
today our wishful expected confirmation of reservation arrived in the letter box.
AAahhh.. one week annual vacation with the family in the Pillerseetal in Tirol, Austria.
We booked the Hotel Lindauhof in Fieberbrunn. 7 Days no work, no customers, no hotlines…hehe.
Hmm… i fear they will have no internet *sigh*.
Aaack… the guy from “Seat” just called me. They will pay 30% of the air-condition-repair.
This means 320,- Euro for me….aaack. The damage is not my fault - it’s a constructional fault.
and the next….. the construction workers will come tomorrow, not today.
One of them told this to me at 4:00 pm. I’am waiting since 7:00 am *sigh*.
This is, why i’am at home for one day.
Here you can see some photos of older holidays.
heavy working…
i’ll be back this evening…. with all the news you like to know, maybe some images….let’s see…
life drips away…
…in waiting lines. Currently waiting for a operator while i’m writing. *sigh*
On Sunday we had “Kids-Day”. We were visiting friends in L.A. (Landshut).
They moved away with there 3 Kids last year.
And… the best you can do, if these 5 Kids get thogether is -
throw them out of the house.
They have a really nice playground, integrated in the nature in a wide park.
But see the pics.

“ When will I learn? The answer to lifes problems arent at the bottom of a bottle, theyre on TV!
